2020 SUMMER TOURNAMENT GUIDELINES
Here is a list of our guidelines that we have set for the upcoming summer tournaments that we still plan to host:
Each team will be provided game balls that they will only use while their team is on defense. Teams will hold onto game balls during games and when on defense will be responsible for foul balls around the entire park.
Teams will refrain from sharing equipment - gloves, helmets, bats, protective gear
There will be no water coolers provided, each player is asked to bring own bottle and to not share
The umpires will be positioned at a proper distance from the catcher that meets their safety needs
Masks are still being recommended but not mandatory
Players who are not on the field are recommended to wear a mask or put one on as soon as leaving the field of play
There will be hand sanitizer and wipes available at each location.
Spectators will be advised not to share a space with anyone outside of their immediate family
There will be no spitting, seeds, high fives or hand shakes
At the end of the contest, teams will give a tip of the cap to the opposing team in place of a hand shake line
There will be signs located at each field location that contains our health & safety guidelines.
We will be contacting the local health department to alert them of our event occurring and the locations that will be used.
We also carry our own insurance as a company and will be providing a copy of that to the host facility. We would also like to note that each team participating is required to provide us with a copy of their team insurance as well. We are still striving to provide a quality event while working within the guidelines set by our state department!
